The Mobile Content Management System

With over 7 years of experience in management of all forms of mobile content to most handsets and carrier types, FasPay has developed a high quality mobile content management system. Initial the system was licensed in connection with existing clients who resold our services for applications. Subsequently we have moved to offer the system as a stand alone hosted content management application. The multiple possibilities of use and the simplicity of the system can be synthesized in the picture below.

The MCMS is built with several systems that can work together or separately depending on the depth of the project:

The Admin interface server - it is used on almost all of our projects for usage stats and other relevant information. It is available 24/7 over a secure web access and can have several accounts and levels of access.

The Content server - whether you chose to have the content reside on our servers or on yours, it manages content delivery under the appropriate formatting for each and every phone that connects to our system. You can chose to have the content formatted by your team under our specs, or have our content management team do that, or even go with real time on demand transcoding and formatting ( on the fly formatting) that will help replace unnecessary data hosting cost if you have a good infrastructure and internet connection your self.

The DRM server - to ensure that your content does not get distributed without your consent the DRM server encodes the content so that it can only be used on the phone where it has been downloaded and cannot be transmitted to any other.

The Billing server - makes sure that you get the most out of your content by providing the most spread payment options for on line billing, Paypal, Premium SMS, Credit Card, Debit Card and IVR, at profitable rates but also offers the option to integrate new ones. Nonetheless if you posses a self manageable billing solution we allow the possibility to have that installed and have a better turnover from the sales you make.

The Support server - takes care of delivery issues, phone compatibility and checks for correct content formatting. It also logs all customer complaints and suggestions for our customer support team to review and assist.

The WAP/WEB server - is the interface between the user and the system and it is responsible for relaying the information received to the other servers in the MCMS.
The server has multi-language support for a very user friendly system in each area designated to be used in.

The Phone recognition server - decodes the phone information received to gather the necessary data for high quality transcoding and adequate DRM encryption. The stored information is also used for a weekly phone database update which currently holds more than 1000 models.

Even though we have focused our attention to offering user generated mobile content we also have pool of over 6,000 polyphonic, true tone sounds, real music and monotone ringtones, over 8,000s of color graphics customized for nearly every handset screen size. We have themed graphics, sports images, celebrations images as well as adult content and over 12,000 logos, picture messages, animations and MMS content in addition to our library of color wallpaper. As more phones have color screens, graphics are becoming more and more popular.
